Biophilia

While exploring the fluidity of water, the playfulness of the colors started to speak a language of their own and very quickly began to resemble living organisms. 

As friends and acquaintances saw them, they had their own experiences to share, some calming, some picking up on something more dark and disturbing, and some finding it abstract or amusing. While the project had started with an intention to work with water and its sculptural properties that shape all living beings on both the micro and macro levels, it progressed into a more emotional response to our state of being during a crisis that we all are collectively facing.
